Christmas Decor Galore
I love decorating for Christmas. Last year I even was able to buy my dream 12 foot tree for our foyer on clearance after Christmas. So today I wanted to share all of our decor this year! Next year we will need to add some new things as well as replace some of our current things (more on that below).
Outside
So I was hoping to add some outside decor this year, but I couldnβt find anything I loved. So we stuck with what we had. Although some of what we have will need to be replaced next year! First up is our front door. When we got out our wreath this year, only half of it worked. After some shaking, Brad was able to get the second half to work. Well one day, it stopped working again. I bought some lights to get us through this year, but I will likely try to find a battery operated one for next year. We also have two trees on each side of the door we have had for a couple of years. The lights on both trees randomly went out on the same day. Once again, I bought some lights to add to them. Next year we will either buy more, keep the lights as is, or use real trees in nice pots.
We also have an inflatable Mickey Mouse and some laser lights.
Then we did add this cute sign outside of our garage.
We have a door hanger on our garage door as well as one on our backdoor.
Foyer
Like I said above, I got my large tree on clearance last year. We opted not to decorate it this year. I am hoping to find ornaments on clearance at the end of this holiday season. I also decorated the railings on the staircase again this year with garland. I have some ideas on how I want to change this up next year!
We have a small table that we moved by our front door under a mirror that usually sits where the tree is. I add some decor all on this table. This is also where we keep our Christmas cards from yearsβ past.
Melody also decorated the windows on each side of our door (not sure you can see it though)
Dining Room
In our dining room we have another Christmas tree. This one is one of our smaller ones. Like the issues we had outside, the lights sometimes work and sometimes donβt in certain sections. So I had to buy some lights to add to it. I also put up some of my paintings from yearsβ past on each side of the tree.
Our dining room table has our Christmas china on it along with mini trees as centerpieces. I also added some small leftover ornaments.
I displayed all of my other Christmas china in our china cabinet.
And I added bows to our sconces.
Living Room
Of course there is our Christmas tree.
Then we have our mantel that has garland, reindeer, and our stockings.
We have various stuffed animals, Lego sets, Little People sets, and pictures throughout.
I also added a photo album this year to place all of our pictures from Christmases prior.
Kitchen
In our kitchen, we kept most of the decor the same as the past. We have hand towels galore, a Mickey Christmas tree, a cute table setup with placemats from Pottery Barn, and small trees all around. We also displayed Melodyβs gingerbread house, and we have a snowman bowl setup.
Everywhere Else
Melodyβs bedroom has a small Christmas tree along with her advent calendar. She also has a reindeer my grandmother gave her that sings, and I put all of her Christmas books out.
We added a fake poinsettia to her bathroom.
A lot of people may thing we over do it, but I love it!
