German Fried Potatoes

This is one of the posts I found in my drafts that I apparently never posted. But these are still some of my favorite potatoes even though I can’t have the bacon anymore!

Ingredients

  • Vegetable Oil

  • Bacon (around 6-8 pieces)

  • Potatoes (6-8)

  • Half an onion

Instructions

1. Wash the potatoes and slice them. I used a food processor to slice them very thin.

2. Chop the onions (I used a food processor for this too).

3. Cook the bacon and then crumble it. We like to bake bacon.

4. In a large pan, fill it with vegetable oil so that the entire bottom is covered. Heat the oil over medium heat.

5. Add the potatoes and stir frequently.

6. After about 10 minutes or so, add the onions and bacon. Cook until nice and crispy.

7. Serve!
