Frozen Birthday Party Food

Frozen Birthday Party Food

Melody’s birthday party this year was at night instead of during the afternoon like parties past. So I felt like food needed to be handled slightly different. Since it was from 5-7, I knew I needed to serve dinner food as well as the dessert food I had planned. My original idea of her party included more kids, more people, less food, and all desserts!

For our “main” food, I basically had what Melody loves: pizza and ruffles, ha! I I also had french onion dip which Melody could careless about!

The dessert table was main event. Most of this food had been planned out and purchased during BOGOs prior to the pandemic.

For her cake I did cupcakes topped with blue icing. I originally planned to do an Elsa doll cake, but Melody boycotted that and I opted for simplicity. I also made cupcake toppers for the top cupcakes and use snowflake edible decor for the others.

I used a three tier bowl set for goldfish, Hershey Kisses, and Frozen fruit snacks. I also took Oreos and covered some in blue and white chocolate.

I bought Rice Krispie Treats and covered them in blue and white chocolate. Then I topped each one with a snowflake chocolate candy that I made a few days before. I also placed these candy chocolates around the Oreos and cookies too.

Lastly, I took chocolate chip cookies and covered some in the blue and white chocolates.
