Hugs and Kisses Valentine Exchange
I let Melody general decide what to do this year for her Valentine exchange at school. She originally wanted unicorns and rainbows, but I eventually convinced her to pick a candy. She opted for “chocolate candy hats” aka Hershey Kisses. I did some googling and opted to do Hugs and Kisses as the them.
I bought a bag each of Hugs and Kisses, some treat bags, and I made the tags myself and printed them on cardstock.
I kept the tags simple. They say “hugs and kisses” with hearts. I printed 6 on a page, then used a paper cutter to cut them into squares. Then I had Melody fill each one out herself this year. She even wanted in on the pictures, ha.
Then we filled each bag with hugs and kisses. Melody wanted to do 4 of each. She did them all herself too.
I punched a hole in the tags, then attached them with some ribbon I already had.
We made her teacher the same bag of candy, but Melody was really adamant about getting her something else too. She found this HUGE pencil at Walmart, and thought it was perfect. So there you go!
Overall I think they turned out adorable this year, and with it being her last year at preschool, it could be our last year of all handmade Valentine’s.
