Disney on Ice 2021
We have been to see Disney on Ice many of times, but we went again in late May with Brad’s family. We have yet to see the same performance twice though. That is one thing I have loved about attending all of them. It has also been so fun to see Melody grow and enjoy each performance so differently over the last 5 years. She is truly at the perfect age for it now. Her and Caroline (her cousin) got so into it and really loved it. Check out our experience this time below.
We visited a new arena this time around. We went with Brad’s family, and the even was in Southaven, MS. It was really easy to get to, and parking was a breeze. We took some pictures of all of our Elsas and our Minnie Mouse before going inside.
So my mother in law promised all the girls they could buy one souvenir and a snack. So we stopped at the first salesman and ended up with 3 stuffed Belle’s and a glow wand.
Then we found lots of bubbles on our walk to find our seats.
The girls were so excited about their dolls, and my mother in law also got everyone popcorn (which they equally loved in the moment).
As you can see here, tickets were sold in “pods” due to COVID. Basically you had to buy an even number of tickets to confirm social distancing and such. I actually really loved having all of the space that we did.
The girls were so excited for the show! First, here are all of the pictures I snapped of the girls. They were amazed at so many of the things the performers did. It really was such a fun show.
Now here are some pictures of the show itself. I am always astonished at how well Disney does these shows. I mean, I know it is Disney and all, but the way they make you forget you are in this arena and submerge you into these actual snippets of these movies is amazing to me. This show we had Beauty and the Beast, Moana, Toy Story, Coco, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Frozen, and of course the traditional Mickey gang made their appearances.
I feel like this was definitely the top two for me of the five we have been to. All of the performances were so impressive and fun to watch, and the girls had a blast. If you want, you can check out our previous shows below:
