Paper Plate Grill
For Father’s Day this year, I had Melody make paper plate grills for Brad and our dads. They were really easy to make and not too messy either. Check them out below.
So I cut a paper plate in half and let Melody paint it. We used dot markers for less of a mess, but you could use paint too. I also had her use her dot markers on 2 popsicle sticks. Once all of that dried, I applied hot glue to the popsicle stick and stuck it to the back of the plate on the circular side. I did the same thing to the second stick. You want it to look like a grill when you flip it over.
Using red and orange cardstock, I traced Melody’s hands. Then I cut it out and glued it to the top of the grill.
You could add some glitter for flare, but I left it as is for simplicity, ha.
