Wahlburgers

Wahlburgers

So about a month or so ago, we happened to be near Wahlburgers and decided to give it a try. We have had it for a while locally, but we honestly are never near it to think about it. And to add some humor to this post, Brad was throughly confused by all of the Mark Wahlberg memorabilia until I explained his connection.

We went on a Friday at lunch time, and we fully expected a long wait, but thankfully we were immediately escorted to a table. I have to be honest in that I thought it was more of a 5 Guys style setup in that you order then find a seat and get a number. Instead I was surprised that it was an actual sit down restaurant. I didn’t grab a picture of the menu because they were truly that fast in taking our order.

I did really want to try their truffle fries or fried pickles, but it would have been a total waste of money because there is no way I could eat them alone plus a burger. But maybe next time if I go with a friend I will try them. So I ended up with The Our Burger. It has cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions, tomatoes and their signature sauce. It came with French fries. And my it was a great burger. I loved that it was a thin patty and their sauce was amazing. They were kind enough to also bring me some for my fries which were also delicious. I would compare the burger to a more upscale Freddy’s burger.

I got Melody the chicken tender kid’s meal. The chicken was decent, but their ranch was great paired with the fries.

Overall we loved it here, and they were so quick and attentive. We were in and out at a great speed for lunch time, and we cannot wait to go back.
