Ole Miss Game with Melody 2021
We took Melody to her first college football game back in 2019. We went to a non-SEC game, and while it was cold, she had a lot of fun. We decided to not go to any football games in 2020 due to COVID. But we continued with our season tickets this past 2021 season. We decided to take her to the Ole Miss/Vanderbilt game. This was basically the best game for us timing wise to take her due to Bradβs work travel and such.
It was a night game which I think was fun for Melody because of all the lights. Unlike 2019, we did not go to any of the pregame fun things. Instead we just went straight to the game. A friend of ours gave us a ticket and parking pass that he happened to have to make our trip easier.
Melody immediately wanted binoculars and food. So that is what she got.
Then she participated in the pregame fun with the band.
Then it was game time. We were sure to take a few selfies throughout the game and halftime to document our time.
During halftime, Melody started roaming around our section. We are surrounded by people we have known for many years since we are all season ticket holders. With it being a Vanderbilt game, the crowds were not for large anyhow. So she had room to move around.
Once again, Melody had lots of fun, and she did really well at the game. And while it was semi-cold, we did not freeze, and there was not too much complaining.
