Doc McStuffins Party Decor
The decorations for Melody’s 6th birthday party were fairly easy to do. The theme Melody picked was Doc McStuffins. I mostly used toys and books Melody already had, so I only had to really buy tablecloths and cardstock!
The main tables where people could sit down and eat were three long tables put together. I used purple tablecloths on these tables. Then I decorated using stuffed animals, books, and some mini-figure toys Melody has. I also had three vases that I used to fill with baby’s breath and flowers from Melody’s dance recital the week before. And the last thing I used was confetti I made. I used white, pink, and purple cardstock, and I cut out outlines of different objects from the show. Then we spread them out randomly on the table.
The food and gift tables were each one long table. The food table had a purple tablecloth as well. Above it was the backdrop I made along with the birthday banner. I also put pink and purple balloons on each side of the banner. The table contained all the food. And I used a few toys, a wooden 6, and the invitation was decoration on top of the food itself. The gift table had a pink tablecloth, a banner above it, gifts, and the favors.
I don’t think much, if any, money was really spent on the decor thankfully. I did grab pictures beforehand of Melody with her toys so I would remember what we had, ha.
