Cheerville Party Place
Yes, it is January, and I am still posting about Melody’s 6th birthday party from back in May. I am super behind on posting all kinds of content. Such is the season of life I am in! So for Melody’s birthday, we decided to have it somewhere new. We always have it at home, but Melody did not want that. It was probably a good thing since she wanted to invite her entire class. Through another blog, I found a place called Cheerville Party Place. The price is a steal, the location is good, and you can have an unlimited number of guests which is ideal.
So for $200 you can rent out this gymnasium for 2 hours. It is typically a space used for tumbling and cheer, but on Fridays and Saturdays, they use the space for parties. Usually there are 4 slots per day to pick from. You technically get the party room for 30 minutes and the gymnasium for 90 minutes. However, you can really use them both as you desire from my experience. I was also able to arrive 30 minutes early to start setting up.
So let’s start with the gymnasium. There is a lot of fun things for the kids to do with it as it is. There is a massive bounce house, an in ground trampoline leading to a foam pit, a long trampoline leading to a crash mat, and then plenty of space to run and play. The kids were able to run around and be crazy the entire time. There were a lot of chairs for parents to sit and watch as well. There are add on packages you can purchase, but we found it just fine without them. I could definitely see the potential for the packages being worth it, but Brad usually gets out there with the kids and keeps them moving around. We brought a soft ball to throw around, and the kids enjoyed playing “keep away” with the dads.
The party room itself is fairly simple. There are 5 long tables that you can use as well as around 20-25 chairs. We used three tables to make one long table for the kids to sit at. Then we used one table for gifts, and the last table for cake. I did bring a backdrop to freshen up the area for pictures. There is also a bathroom located in here for those that need it. There is NOT a refrigerator that we knew of, so we just used a cooler to keep drinks cold.
Overall, Cheerville Party Place was a great location for Melody’s birthday party. The cost and unlimited kids made it hard to beat!
