Doll Clothes Storage Idea
A big problem area in our playroom is the amount of toys Melody has and her inability to really find all the things. One of those things would be all of her American Girl doll clothes. She has a bitty baby, all of the WellieWishers, and a TrulyMe doll. With all those dolls comes a lot of clothes. And she rarely change their clothes because she has trouble finding all their outfits. And when she did find the outfit she was looking for, all the others were left in the floor. So I started researching ways to better store the clothes. Here is what I came up with!
I bought a hanging jewelry organizer from Amazon. My only issue was I didn’t account for how “thick” the outfits would be. So it buckles a little bit with me trying to fit an entire outfit in one slot. But I definitely made it work. I tried to somewhat organize them by doll type. I did place accessories in the top portion, but I kept the shoes in a storage shelf with her play washer and dryer.
I added a command hook to the back of her playroom door, then I hung it up. It keeps them out of the way, but also easily accessible when she wants them!
