Straw Valentine Exchange
Valentine’s Day may already be over, but I wanted to still go ahead and share what I made for Melody’s Valentine’s Day exchange this year. You can pin it or save it so you can remember for next year if you want as well. It was super easy to make too. Melody did most of the work after I my Silhouette printed and cut them out!
A few years ago, my best friend did this exact same thing for her daughter. Melody loved the idea of giving out straws for Valentine’s Day too. So I bought a bag of the heart straws from Hobby Lobby. They were not very expensive at all. Then I designed 3 different notes. They were all setup the same, just different sayings. I printed them, then my Silhouette cut the actual rectangle and straw holes out. From there Melody got to work. She signed them all, then she placed the straw in each one. Super easy, and I think it is a great alternative to candy!
