Disney World Day Six March 2023
Day Six was our final day at Disney World before heading back to Huntsville. We opted to start our day at Hollywood Studios doing some of the bigger rides we didn’t do on day three. Then we wanted to end with our favorite park, EPCOT.
We got our morning started early. As soon as we arrived at Hollywood Studios, we headed straight for Tower of Terror. We did buy Genie+, but we used it for Slinky Dog Dash, so we knew we would have to wait for Tower of Terror. Unfortunately it got a late start opening, so we ultimately waited an hour. But Melody LOVED it. And it was a favorite of Brad’s parents too. [Peep that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique bun still holding strong!]
Next we headed to Toy Story Mania. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes, but we all had a lot of fun.
At this point, we opted to walk around Galaxy’s Edge, grab lunch, then take some pictures before heading to our Slinky Dog Dash Genie+.
We then rode a fan favorite, Slinky Dog Dash.
I lose track here a little bit. I know Melody, Vicki, and I went and rested while the guys did the single rider of Millennium Falcon. I also think we rode Toy Story Mania again using Genie+. Then we went to meet Fancy Nancy and Doc McStuffins. Right before leaving, we headed back to Tatooine Traders to get Melody and Brad baby Yoda’s for their shoulders.
Once we got to Epcot, we rode Soarin again and Living with the Land. We actually got stuck on Living with the Land for a bit, but we didn’t get evacuated. One day maybe.
Since it was our last night, I wanted to go out with a bang for dinner. So we did our favorite, Garden Grill. Nothing made me happier than finally having a nice meal here with Melody. She didn’t cry a bit, and she truly loved interacting with all of the characters. She enjoyed it back in 2021, but she also couldn’t really interact with the characters due to COVID. The food was great, and Brad’s parents loved it too.
Melody convinced Nannie and Bob Bob to do one more ride on Living with the Land (it’s a family favorite), then we took one last set of pictures before heading out for the night.
