I want to say the Rainbow Rangers Birthday Invitation was probably made up of the most parts of any I have done so far. I keep saying I am done making them myself, but it will never happen, ha. The rainbow was probably one of my favorite things so far though!
Another favor that we had at Melody’s Rainbow Ranger birthday party was a communicator. Now if you are not familiar, it is a bracelet the Rangers wear that they can use to communicate with their leader and with each other. Melody really wanted this at her party, so Brad was on a mission to deliver!
So Brad made one favor for Melody’s Rainbow Ranger themed birthday party [more on that to come later], but I wanted to do something else too. Mainly because back during February, Melody found some erasers and bubbles she wanted to use as favors. This was before really knowing how we were going to do Brad’s favors. I hated for those to go to waste, so we did some favor bags too!
While I wanted to be sure and have food that Melody liked at her birthday party, I also wanted food to fit the theme. I tried to incorporate as much "rainbow” as I could and also appeasing Melody!
Like all of Melody’s birthday parties, I made her birthday banner for the Rainbow Ranger’s birthday party. I used the same cardstock that I used for her invitations, and I kept it in rainbow order just like she asked. The letters I kept in white.
For Melody’s 5th birthday, she wanted a Rainbow Ranger themed party. Well actually, about a month before she changed her mind to Doc McStuffins, but mommy had already bought Rainbow Rangers, so maybe Doc next year, ha. Anyhow, Rainbow Ranger itself was hard to find, but we did find lots of rainbow things we used along with toys we already had. Melody was specific and had to approve most things because she wanted everything to be in true rainbow order (aka ROYGBIV). The party itself turned out cute, and she loved it.
With this being Melody’s last year at her sweet preschool, I wanted to give her a little gift the day before starting. We bought Melody a Pottery Barn Frozen backpack and lunchbox a long while back. She asked for a backpack for her birthday, so we decided to go ahead and give her that then. So we knew we had a lunchbox to give her. And I wanted to get her a new back to school book. The last thing we ended up with was a Rainbow Rangers toy set. I happened to find this on the Walmart website, and I knew I had to have it! It just so happened this was the perfect occasion to give it to her!
