What to Wear to Disney World in September
As most of you know, I go to Disney World quite frequently. One of the most difficult tasks for me is what clothes to pack for the weather. This is primarily because Orlando weather isn't always the easiest to predict. However, in September, you can pretty much guarantee it is going to be humid, hot, and maybe even rainy! So dress appropriately.
A lot of people opt for things you would wear to the gym. I mean you basically are getting in one massive workout. However, Brad and I like to eat at nicer restaurants and take lots of pictures. The last thing I want to do is be seen looking as if I am at a gym. So we try to semi-dress up but also be comfortable. For Brad that is easy...khakis shorts and short sleeve polo.
For me, not so easy. I recommend wearing some comfortable shorts like the ones below I bought from Old Navy. Some even are slip-on shorts which are even nicer! If you find chaffing to be a problem, I have found that Gold Bond Spray Powder works miracles if you apply it before hitting the parks! I pair that with a cotton fitted t-shirt. I am always sure to wear tennis shoes, but if I decide to wear slip-on flats or flip flops, I use Band-Aid Friction Block stick and apply it to any area where blisters might appear! Sometimes I will even wear a dress, but I always wear some type of cotton shorts underneath the dress in case the wind gets crazy or for getting on and off the rides. I always try and keep jewelry to a minimum, and Brad and I pack one small backpack to carry all of our belongings in so I don't need a purse!
