Disney World March 2023 Family Shirt

We have made many Disney family shirts over the years, and it does get hard to make up new ones. I hate to re-use themes from the past. And when you are with a larger group, it is harder to make it all unison but different. So when it came time to design a family shirt for us to all wear for our March 2023 Spring Break trip, I had a little bit of a difficult time. I didn’t want to do favorite rides, because I really don’t know that Bob and Vicki had a favorite ride prior to this trip. Brad mentioned everyone being a different park, but I wasn’t sure how we would narrow that down…and there are not five parks. So after some deliberation with Brad, we opted to try and make everyone a character or favorite “thing” and make it have Mickey ears.

September 2018 Disney World Planning and Packing

So I am not going to make this post quite like my Disney World planning post from the past. This trip was completely different than all of my previous trips. We traveled with my mom on a business trip, so we didn’t do as much planning ahead of time. So instead of going through our dining reservations (we only made one or two prior) or our Fastpasses (we made very few of these too), I am going to go through some of the other things we had to plan and pack.

Disney Shirts

For our trip to Disney in December, I made all of us different shirts to wear on certain days of our trip.  For one day, we each one wanted to do different family shirts.  In addition, we made the girls shirts to wear on another day.  Check them out below.

What to Wear to Disney in May

I love going to Disney World during the Flower and Garden Festival.  It is absolutely gorgeous at Epcot.  The first time I attended was during our honeymoon in 2013.  I actually did not really know what it was, but when we arrived, it was stunning.  We went back for our 2nd anniversary as well. They also used to have Star Wars Weekends, but they no longer do that anymore.  We have found May to be great because it isn't very crowded, but the weather can be fairly warm.  I have written two previous posts regarding what to wear to Disney World in January and in September.  I find May to be very similar to September.  It is actually a little bit cooler in May, but not by much.  The highs are usually in the mid-to-upper 80's, and the lows are usually in the high 60's.  Generally I recommend shorts/skirts, short sleeve shirts, or dresses.  Below are some of the specific outfits both Brad and I have worn.  I hope this helps if you are planning a trip around May!

What to Wear to Disney World in January

Winter is my favorite time of year to go to Disney World.  I especially love going in January.  My mom and I go almost every year for my birthday, and the crowds are extremely low.  You do have to be careful if you go on the weekends, however.  There are cheer competitions going on most weekends in January, but during the week is perfect crowds.  Some rides are usually closed, but you will honestly find a ride or two closed during all parts of the year.  Beyond the low crowds, I love the weather.  It is rarely too hot or too cold.  However, it can be difficult to dress.  The reason is because it starts off chilly in the morning, warms up in the afternoon, and gets chilly again.  Below are my tips and suggestions for what to wear in January (or general winter time):

What to Wear to Disney World in September

As most of you know, I go to Disney World quite frequently.  One of the most difficult tasks for me is what clothes to pack for the weather.  This is primarily because Orlando weather isn't always the easiest to predict.  However, in September, you can pretty much guarantee it is going to be humid, hot, and maybe even rainy!  So dress appropriately.
