July 4th Dessert Idea
So this isn't a true "recipe" necessarily. I have already posted about how to make Oreo Balls in my Valentine's Day post last year. So you will need to visit that post for the recipe (I kindly linked it for you). Below is an example of an easy way to add a little bit of July 4th spirit to the recipe however!
I purchased some US Flag cupcake toppers as well as some red and blue straws. I opted for paper straws for the thickness, but plastic straws may work as well.
Cut the straws into three pieces.
On the end of the Oreo Balls that are not covered in almond bark, insert the cupcake topper or straw.
Display on a blue or red plate and you have yourself an easy and festive July 4th dessert!
