DIY Birthday Shirt
So for Brad's birthday, I wanted Melody to wear some sort of "Happy Birthday" shirt for her daddy. However, with babies (and kids in general), they grow SO fast. I knew that even if I bought her a generic "Happy Birthday!" onesie, it would be unlikely that she could wear it for my birthday...5 months later. It really wasn't worth the $20 that it would cost to buy one from someone online. I decided to make my own.
While at Old Navy one day, I found a blue onesie that was 0-3 months, and it was on clearance for $0.47! I bought this mid-summer before I had this idea. I figured I could't pass up that cheap of a onesie. Even if she only wore it once, it was worth $0.47!
I used Pixelmator to design a cute image that would work with a blue background. Check it out below:
I used the blue onesie and printed the image on an iron-on paper.
We surprised her daddy the next morning with it on!
