Melody's First Easter
Easter weekend started out with an Easter Egg hunt at my in-law's country club. This was Melody's first Easter Egg hunt, and since she cannot walk yet, it wasn't much of a hunt! Brad took her around and let her pick up a few eggs though.
Melody ended up with four eggs total. The age groups were not the most thought out. Her group contained 0 to 5 yrs. So many older kids were snatching them up right in front of her. They were also full of melted chocolate. We had a near disaster as Melody grabbed some of the melted chocolate, but we cleaned it all up!
Easter morning was spent playing some before church as she received her Easter basket.
We then went to church. After church, we came back and took some pictures, then we had a delicious Easter lunch prepared by my mother-in-law.
Overall, Melody's first Easter was a huge success. I can't wait until next year when she can actually walk and attempt to collect eggs!
