Napkin Rings
I have discussed making napkin rings numbers times [baby shower and baptism], but I liked to share different napkins rings that I do for various events. I was in charges of the napkins for the couples shower I helped host. I wanted to do something cute that tied into the theme very well. Check out what I did below!
The colors were red and blue, so we bought blue napkins and used red cutlery. Like my previous napkin rings, I knew there would be two layers. I wanted to print the Memphis skyline along with the couples name on white cardstock. That would be the top layer. So I had to find a good color to go in between the white cardstock and the blue napkin. I found numerous pieces of cardstock I liked at Hobby Lobby, but I purchased two just to see which would look better once I got one. A solid red one and a black one with musical notes. Musical notes would go well with the Memphis hometown theme.
Standing alone, I loved the music notes, but the red just made the skyline pop more. Ultimately I opted for red as the back layer. Below is the final product in all of its glory!
