Last weekend, I helped host a bridal shower for my cousin, Ashley. She is getting married in November, and I love hosting a good event! Her maid of honor and mom help with all the ideas, but I wanted to share how adorable everything turned out. I plan to post more details later about different parts of the shower! But the general theme was “miss to mrs”.
While celebrating Christmas with my mom's extended family, I noticed a neat thing my cousin Amy did. In her kitchen, she displayed a napkin from her and her husband's, Jon, wedding. She displayed it in a cute picture frame that matched the colors of their kitchen. It was actually the perfect place for their napkin based on its surroundings and such. I thought it was such a cute idea, I decided to copy it. Check out my copy below.
I have discussed making napkin rings numbers times [baby shower and baptism], but I liked to share different napkins rings that I do for various events. I was in charges of the napkins for the couples shower I helped host. I wanted to do something cute that tied into the theme very well. Check out what I did below!
Melody was baptized at our local church, Asbury United Methodist Church, on February 19, 2017. Since I was not baptized as a baby, we did not have a gown that she could wear from me, so we found a gorgeous one at a local baby clothing store. Both fortunate and unfortunate, we purchased this dress for 40% off (fortunate), but the store is now out of business and was selling everything at a discount due to this (unfortunate). Brad parents actually bought her dress as a gift to Melody.
As I have mentioned in a previous post, my sister-in-law's baby shower had a storybook theme. When trying to decide a guestbook, it seemed fitting that it be a storybook that people signed.
Since it is wedding season, I thought I would share with you what our DIY wedding programs looked like. When designing them, I did a lot of research on different styles. I designed them myself as well as printed and assembled them.
