Jalapeno Popper Chicken
For me, this is one of those Pinterest recipes you see and wonder if it will really taste as good as it looks in these pictures. Well thankfully it did. I did make a few adjustments due to my pork allergy, but it still tasted really great and wasn’t too spicy at all!
Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts cut in half
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
8 oz of softened cream cheese
5-6 fresh jalapeño peppers
4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Place the 4 pieces of chicken in the bottom of a baking dish. Sprinkle with garlic powdered and spread the cream cheese over the chicken breasts evenly.
2. Wash and remove the stems and seeds of the jalapeño peppers and cut into strips. Layer the strips on top of the cream cheese. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top.
3. Bake at 375 for 45-50 minutes and serve!
