Taco Seasoning
So we eat tacos fairly frequently. So much so I bought a huge thing of taco seasoning from Sam’s a while back. We do taco ring, tacos, chicken tacos, etc. Well I recently ran out, and we haven’t renewed our membership. I also forgot to get any at Walmart on a week we planned to make tacos. So I did some googling and found a recipe I liked, and we had all the ingredients in our spice cabinet. Brad actually prefers this version, so I may make a bigger batch since it stores well. We used all of this in one week, ha.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and whisk. Use as needed!
Like I said this made enough for about two meals. I used 2 tablespoons per one pound of meat.
