A while back we decided to give Earth and Stone Pizza a try. They opened one nearby, and we kept meaning to go there but just never made it. There is a lot of road construction near the one in Madison, so I feel like it takes a bit more effort. But we were glad we finally stopped by and tried it.

The space isn’t exceptionally large, but they do offer a meeting room area that can be used for ordinary dining when not in use for events. We ate there on a Friday, and it wasn’t crowded at all (this isn’t always the best sign). Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures of the restaurant, but they have bar style seating, family style seating, and smaller tables. You order at the counter, then they give you a number and you pick your own seat. They also have fountain drinks and alcohol.

We kept it simple this trip with our food choices. This was about the time Melody started eating cheese pizza, so we opted for one of those. Again, super boring. And she of course wouldn’t touch it. I really liked the pizza. I love the thinner crust and how some of it had the burn from the actual fire on it. However, this was nothing out of the ordinary. Next time, I would try something else honestly.

Brad had the Margherita pizza. And it was DELICIOUS. When we go back, this will definitely be one that we order again. The mozzarella tasted super fresh, and the crust was even thinner on this pizza. It was my favorite crust. The fresh basil was a nice touch too.

If you can have pork (unlike me), they have a lot of fun options. I do want to go back sometime and try some of their other pizzas and even their salads. Oh and their ice cream looked delicious!
