Hand Flower Bouquet
As I mentioned Tuesday, I wanted to do a special card for our parents for Valentine’s Day that involved Melody’s hands. For my parents I decided to make a bouquet of flower. It was so cute, I actually made one for us to put with our Valentine’s Day decor! Oh and this would be a cute card for any occasion!
To start, I had Melody make handprints the night before. She picked out pink paint from my collection, and we filled up white cardstock with both her left and right hand prints.
The next day I cut out the handprints and I placed them on Kraft paper to give myself an idea of where to draw the stems. I decided to only do 3 flowers as well. I didn’t want to fill the entire page up or anything, but you could if you wanted.
I used a green color pencil to draw the stems. You could use a sharpie if you wanted, but I had a better selection of green from my color pencils.
Then I used glue to attach the handprints to the paper.
Lastly I wrote “Happy Valentine’s Day”, “I love you”, and her age and year, etc.
I also had Melody sign it. She didn’t do the best job originally, so I let her sign the back where she had more room.
And all done!
