Craft Stick Sunshine
If you are looking for a fairly easy craft to do to remind you of the outside while not suffering in the high humidity, this is it, ha! You can improvise with supplies if you don’t have what I used on hand, and it is easy for just about any age to do.
We used craft sticks, yellow foam paper, googly eyes, glue, a black sharpie, and a yellow marker. Again improvise if you don’t have all of that on hand!
First I had Melody color the craft sticks using a yellow dot marker. This dried MUCH faster than paint would and was less messy too! While she did that, I cut a circle from the foam paper. Older kids could do this themselves.
While that dried, I had Melody glue the eyes onto the foam, and then I drew a smile on it with a black sharpie.
Lastly, we attached the craft sticks to the back of the foam pieces using glue.
Once dry it was ready to display!
