Air Fryer Donut Holes

I made this donut holes early during the pandemic for Melody. I actually did it because I went to Dunkin’ Donuts and they didn’t have any powdered donuts (regular or munchkin). I had this recipe tucked away for a while, so it was the perfect opportunity to use it.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups flour

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 4 tablespoons cold butter cut into pieces

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • powdered sugar

Instructions

1. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add butter and use a knife or pantry cutter until well combined. Add milk and combine into the dough forms into a ball. Place dough on a floured surface and knead until the dough is smooth (I skipped this step, but shouldn’t have). Divide into 14 or so balls.

2. Coat the air fryer with oil spray. Place balls in the air fryer and space so that they do not touch. Cook at 250 for around 10 minutes.

3. Remove from the basket and toss in powdered sugar.

4. Serve! So they tasted great, just not super pretty, ha!
