First Day of 1st Grade
Melody started first grade this year. It is really hard to believe the summer went by this fast, and now we are at this point. But she is so excited!
The school year started with open house. Here we got to meet Melody’s teacher, say hello to her teacher from last year, take pictures, sign up for the PTO, etc.
Now it was time for the first day of school! Melody had bacon for breakfast.
Then we got lots of pictures before heading out the door.
We were able to walk her in the first day, and her teacher sent a picture midday as well.
Then it was time to pick her up. She had so much fun! Unfortunately a lot her classmates from her kindergarten class were not in her class this year. BUT they do have recess and PE together which is nice. And Kona Ice happened to be parked on our way home, so we stopped for a sno cone as a special treat!
