Easter 2023
Easter was lots of fun this year. We were so excited to spend our first Easter with our new church family, and we had lots of activities leading up to the day.
First off was Melody’s Easter basket. It was jammed packed with lots of goodies for her.
The week before Easter, our church hosted an Easter Egg hunt filled with fun before. Melody posed with the Easter bunny, made bubbles, got her face painted, jumped in the bouncy house, and then hunted all the eggs! We ended the night with ice cream at our local ice cream shop!
The Saturday before Easter, my cousin hosted our family at her house to celebrate. It was muddy and rainy, but it didn’t stop the kids from having a blast running around looking for eggs!
Easter morning began with a scavenger hunt for Melody to find her Easter Basket. It was inspired (and requested) due to an episode of Bluey. She really had fun with it.
Before going to church, we were sure to take some pictures.
Melody posed with the cross at church. Then we went to Bridgestreet to have Easter brunch at Texas de Brazil.
Easter evening we hosted the Emily’s family. We had hotdogs and hunted eggs too.
A few weeks before Easter, Melody also had her Easter pictures made. I loved them so much this year!
