Displaying Special Napkins

Displaying Special Napkins

While celebrating Christmas with my mom's extended family, I noticed a neat thing my cousin Amy did.  In her kitchen, she displayed a napkin from her and her husband's, Jon, wedding.  She displayed it in a cute picture frame that matched the colors of their kitchen.  It was actually the perfect place for their napkin based on its surroundings and such.  I thought it was such a cute idea, I decided to copy it.  Check out my copy below.

In our living room, we have a small wedding display so to speak.  On a console table that Brad's mom gave us, we have a bunch of wedding items displayed on it.  It has our wedding album my aunt made us, and two wedding pictures - one of Brad and I on the beach, another from my bridal session.  We also have a cute lamp, a few candles, and our home phone on this table.  I thought this would be the perfect place to put our wedding napkin on display.  We had quite a few left that I stored, then I tossed a bunch in the garbage.  Anyhow, I found a cute frame we already had in our stock of picture frames (ha!), and I simply added it to it.  Luckily the frame itself didn't require me to use cardstock or anything behind the napkin because it was already solid black.  Some frames may require something behind the napkin just to look better in general.  This could work for any napkin from any event you had that was special to you!
