Oreo Valentine Exchange
I mentioned Thursday that I had hoped to post this sooner. But Melody and I didn’t come up with a Valentine Exchange idea until Wednesday. So I spent Thursday creating it! Melody wanted to give her classmates and teachers Oreos. Thankfully Publix had their individually wrapped Oreos BOGO this week. I opted to get the larger sized ones. I had approximately 24 kids/teachers to give them to, so this worked out best too.
So to start, I used my Silhouette Cameo to both cut and write on the cards. I did them 1.5 inches by 5 inches, and I used one of my Silhouette black glitter pens. I had the Silhouette even sign her name and the recipient of each pack. This took a little bit of time but was worth it to look uniform. I also opted not to fill in the letters. I don’t think it would be worth the time honestly.
Next I took each card and applied double sided tape to it. I was sure to cover the entire thing so that it would have a smaller chance of coming off.
Then I attached it to the front of the Oreo pack.
And 24 packs later, I was complete!
The saying was found off of Pinterest but worked out perfectly! It was about the same cost as store bought ones and they had a more personal touch. Oh and you get a lot more this way too!
