Easter Egg Painting Craft
So this is another craft we did during our homeschooling days. It didn’t go quite like I had planned, but Melody wanted to do it her way. And it wasn’t worth the battle, ha! I will explain as I go along as to what I had hoped she would do.
So to start with I cut out 6 eggs from white cardstock. I used my Silhouette Cameo, but you could do these freehand easily. I then let Melody chose 4 paints. You could do as many or as little paints as you like. And the trick here is to use qtips as your paint brushes! My hopes were that Melody would make cute designs using said qtips, but she wanted to just paint the entire egg one color. It kept her busy which I guess is good enough for me! Currently the eggs are displayed around our house, but you could make a cute banner with them if you wanted.
Edited to add: We put them on our front door because our neighborhood is doing an Easter egg hunt looking for eggs in our windows!
