Homemade King Cake
I know we are beyond Mardi Gras, but I did want to share this very easy king cake recipe I found on TikTok. It is mostly about presentation and buying the right cinnamon rolls!
Ingredients
1 can of cinnamon rolls with CREAM CHEESE icing (that’s the most important part!)
Instructions
1. Spray a bundt cake pan with cooking spray OR place parchment paper down on a cookie sheet (this is what we did). Place the cinnamon rolls standing up in a circular pattern.
2. Follow the instructions of the cinnamon rolls as far as oven temp and cooking time. Remove from the oven.
3. Transfer to a plate as is (this is easier with a bundt pan). Pour icing over cinnamon rolls. Then sprinkle with yellow, green, and purple sprinkles. (I made these on Valentine’s Day so I used red sprinkles.)
