My mom and I just returned from my annual birthday trip to Disney World (here is the planning info and trip report). While there, we revisited Be Our Guest for breakfast. It is definitely our favorite breakfast reservation to make. I have reviewed Be Our Guest before (here and here), but the breakfast sandwich that I raved about in the past has changed. So I wanted to do a quick update in regards to that and show off some pictures.
So I will let you know now, this is not a positive review of Liberty Tree Tavern. There are positive parts, but overall, I would not eat here again. I won't say "never" because there is always the off chance we go with people that may want to eat there...many years down the road. BUT, if I have a choice or vote in the matter, we will not be going back. Check out our experience below.
So my mom and I knew we would not have enough dining credits for EVERY meal. So we decided we would either pay out of pocket for a meal that didn't take the dining plan or for breakfast. Well we only ate breakfast one morning, so we decided to try The Brown Derby Lounge. As I mentioned in a previous review, The Brown Derby itself is not worth the two credits for the table service dining plan usage. However, if you want to try some of the foods The Brown Derby has to offer, such as the Cobb Salad, stop by the Lounge. It is first come first service seating. We arrived at 12:30, and there was plenty of seats available.
I have a previous post about my experience at Be Our Guest for breakfast with my husband. Today I wanted to share another meal I had there in January 2016.
So for lunch on our last day, we decided to use a quick service credit. We were at Hollywood Studios that morning, so we were torn if we should just eat there, or go try something at Epcot. Well, we opted for Mexican at Epcot. Mexican was about the only type of food we had not tried since we were at Disney World. My mom had tried La Cantina de San Angel before, but I had not.
On my last trip to Disney World, my mom and I had dinner at Coral Reef at EPCOT. My review of our experience and the food is below.
We dined at Cape May Café our first day at Disney World for my 30th birthday trip. I will be completely up front and tell you I did not get enough pictures. I really wish I had. However, you can find plenty of pictures of this amazing eatery online. But let me give you my review (in case you can't tell I like it already!).
So Mickey Waffles are a big thing for Brittany. It's the first thing she always wants to eat when we get to Disney World.

We did not eat at a lot of quick service restaurants, but I did want to briefly review the food when we did. I have pictures in most cases, but either way, I have my opinions below!
As you may have read in my previous post, Brad and I just returned from Walt Disney World. We went back to celebrate our two year anniversary. As I wrote about yesterday, Brad and I always select one must do restaurant. Mine is always Teppan Edo, his is one of the French restaurants. I personally prefer Chefs de France over Monsieur Paul simply because of the dessert selection. If they offered the same desserts at both places, it would be Monsieur Paul without a doubt. That is simply because of the environment. See below for pictures and my review of Chefs de France.

Teppan Edo has turned into one of those restaurants I feel I need to eat at every time we go to Disney. We first tried it back in September with friends. Then when my mom and I returned in January, I had it again. I don't really know why we love it so much. I mean there isn't anything super Disney-esque about it, but it is really, really good hibachi and the service/experience is always great. See below for my review and pictures!

When we originally started planning our trip, I did check for reservations for hard to get places at the 180 day mark. Be Our Guest was already booked up for the date we thought we wanted. It wasn't a huge deal to us, but it was a restaurant I wanted to try at some point for dinner. Well about two months prior to our trip, I tried to check once a day or so to see if anything popped up as available. Sure enough on April 6 it did. The moment I saw it, I didn't question a thing, I just booked it. I knew I could rearrange any of my Fastpasses or Touring Plans if needed much more easily than being picky about a time for dinner at Be Our Guest. See below for my review and picutres!

California Grill is a restaurant that we wanted to try two years ago while honeymooning at Disney. We were staying at The Contemporary and we heard that was the place to eat. Unfortunately our honeymoon was during their big refurbishment, so we were unable to eat there. I made it my mission for us to eat there this trip. That was the ONLY reservation I made at the 180 mark because I wanted to make sure we had this reservation at a decent time.

Since we were unable to be at Disney during Star Wars Weekends, I wanted Brad to experience something special that was Star Wars related. We decided to try the Jedi Mickey's Star Wars Dine at Hollywood and Vine. We hated to spend the money for the Star Wars breakfast, and it really didn't fit in our schedule. We booked our dinner for our first night at Disney. The cost for this buffet is $57.99 per adult and $34.99 per child. You did get a PhotoPass card with a copy of your picture with Jedi Mickey on it.
