Easter Baskets 2020

So Easter baskets were a little more difficult this year thanks to the coronavirus. Luckily I did a lot of my shopping before all of this even started, and I would say 90% of this stuff you can even get online either through Amazon or through a pickup service such as Target or Walmart.

Counting Carrots

Now that we are stuck home and schools are no longer open, we are constantly finding new crafts to do to help keep us busy. Right now I am focusing on Easter/Spring crafts. This is a super easy craft, and as long as you have some glue, construction paper and scissors you are good to go!

Easter Baskets

So this year for Easter, I made three different Easter baskets. They all contained some similar items, but they were all a little different. Check them out below.

Easter 2018

Easter this year was much different that ones before.  Melody was able to walk this Easter, and she was much more interested in hunting eggs.  We spent Easter local instead of traveling like we usually do.  While we missed our out of town family, it was nice to spend Easter with our local family and friends.  And traveling on holidays can be really stressful too.  Unfortunately our dishwasher sprung a leak the week before, so that did create some drama Easter weekend.  However it was a blessing we were in town to handle it.  Aside from the housing woes, we had a very fun and eventful Easter weekend.  Check it all out below:

Melody's First Easter

Easter weekend started out with an Easter Egg hunt at my in-law's country club.  This was Melody's first Easter Egg hunt, and since she cannot walk yet, it wasn't much of a hunt!  Brad took her around and let her pick up a few eggs though.

Easter Baskets for Infants

Infants are tricky when it comes to Easter because they are much more limited on the toys they can play with and the food they can eat.  Instead of buying a pre-made basket (although I found some cute ones at Target in their baby section), I decided to make one.  I made both Melody and her best friend, Lydia, baskets.  Check them out below:

Cadbury Egg Crescent Roll

One of my favorite Easter chocolates is Cadbury Caramel Eggs.  Sometimes, we love these chocolates so much, we buy way too many.  Or maybe we receive a few too many in our Easter baskets.  Either way, the recipe below is a great and delicious way to use up those Cadbury Eggs...maybe even for breakfast!  Chocolate for breakfast is a good plan to me!

Easter Bunny Pancakes

I saw a picture of these cute Easter bunny pancakes online a few weeks ago, and I decided to try making them myself! I used our trusty old Bisquick pancake recipe and our pancake pen to make the perfect shapes!
