Boardwalk To Go

When we stayed at The Boardwalk back in February at Disney World, we decided to try Boardwalk To Go. We were arriving in the evening, and I didn’t want to make a dining reservation in fear of delays. Plus we knew we would likely be paying out of pocket for one quick service meal. So Boardwalk To Go was on the top of our list of places to eat at on this evening. We had a few others we had researched, but the food sounded best here. Plus all the reviews online said it was cash only. So this would be the only opportunity for us to eat here.

Via Napoli

On our February trip to Disney World, we decided to try Via Napoli. Brad really wanted some Italian, but I have never loved Tutto Italia. Plus we were planning to have Tony’s Town Square later in the week. So we wanted Italian but not just traditional pasta. We had heard great things about Via Napoli with the exception of using it with the dining plan. That was our only hesitation. But after analyzing all of our meals, we opted to just pay out of pocket for this meal and keep the reservation.

Rose and Crown

So I am really kicking myself in the butt for not trying Rose and Crown sooner. We have had many reservations here in the past, and we have always cancelled them for one reason or another. Well on our trip in February 2019, we finally tried it. And OMG and I am still drooling over it! Let me share with you how simple yet amazing this meal is.

Disney Mobile Ordering

When we went to Disney back in September, I used Disney Mobile Ordering for the first time. I haven’t had a need for it honestly. On our trips prior to this one, we always had the dining plan, and they were not accepting the dining plan as a form of payment on those trips. Dining plans are accepted now, and we happened to be using a credit card on this trip anyhow.

Yak and Yeti

Yak and Yeti is an Asia restaurant found at Animal Kingdom. Mom and I recently gave it a try on our trip in September. I have been wanting to eat here for a while, but it seems like we are never at Animal Kingdom long enough for a table service restaurant. But this trip, I was sure to make the time.

Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory Review

My mom and I stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter when we went to Disney in January.  While we spent a majority of our time visiting and eating in the parks, we did visit the food court at our hotel a few times.  The formal name is Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory, but I will be referring to it as Sassagoula or the food court, ha!

Beaches and Cream Review

My mom and I visited Beaches and Cream for the very first time on our trip in January.  Brad and I visited the to-go counter back in December and bought a milkshake and an ice cream cone.  Because of this visit in December, I came home and found dinner reservations for mom and me.  The food smelled and looked delicious from our brief walk inside.  So I really wanted to give this restaurant a try. I planned it on the day we were already visiting Epcot so that we could just walk over.  It worked out perfectly because we were able to take a bus from the Beach Club to Disney Springs for some shopping.  Check out our pictures and review below:

Yak and Yeti Food Cafe

When mom and I went to Disney in January, one of the new places we tried was Yak and Yeti Food Cafe.  It is located in Animal Kingdom near Kali River Rapids.  We rarely spend a whole lot of time in Animal Kingdom.  Because of that, we rarely eat at any quick service or table service restaurants.  And if we do, it is usually the same place...Pizzafari.  Because we wanted to do Flight of Passage, we went on the time and day I could get a Fastpass for it.  So we ended up being at Animal Kingdom at dinner.  Yak and Yeti has always been a restaurant I wanted to try, but I wasn't sure we would have time for table service.  So we opted for the quick service version.  Check out my review below!

Disney Party

In preparation for our Disney trip last December, we had another Disney party.  As you may recall, we did a Disney party in the past for a trip we went on with Emily and Justin to Disney.  We wanted to do something fun to get everyone excited about our upcoming trip.  Since it was near the holidays, our focus wasn't entirely on the trip.  So I wanted one day where we spent a little time thinking about Disney!

Sunshine Seasons

Our favorite part of Epcot is The Land.  In Brad's words "The moment I walk into The Land, I really feel like I have arrived at Disney World!"  I am not 100% sure why it feels that way for us, but it does.  We do love Soarin', but we REALLY love Living with the Land.  We also love the Garden Grill.  And we love to just sit and relax in Sunshine Seasons.  Of all the times we have just relaxed here, we have never actually had a meal here.  Typically we eat all Table Service restaurants when we are at Epcot.  They just have so many, it is hard not to.  But on our recent trip to Disney World, we had both lunch and dinner here.

PizzeRizzo

On our recent trip to Disney World, we tried PizzeRizzo at Hollywood Studios.  This wasn't pre-planned by any means (we originally planned to eat at Backlot Express).  We did plan to eat somewhere at Hollywood Studios for lunch, and we preferred something quick-service to save money.  While Brad was riding Star Tours around 12:30 p.m. or so, Melody and I waited in the Muppet Courtyard in some shade we found.  I have no desire to ride Star Tours unless I am riding it WITH Brad, so we did not do a rider swap for this attraction.  When Brad was finished and came to find me, it occurred to be to try PizzeRizzo since we were literally already right there!  And pizza was the one thing we had not eaten this entire trip.  Below is a quick review!

The Trolley Car Cafe

On our recent trip to Disney World, we visited The Trolley Car Cafe for a quick breakfast.  We wanted something semi-filling, but we didn't have time to sit down anywhere.  This was the first thing we saw as we were walking down Hollywood Boulevard.  Check out my review below.

The Plaza Restaurant

On our trip to Disney World in February 2017, we decided to try The Plaza Restaurant.  We rarely eat at table service restaurants at the Magic Kingdom.  I have tried a few of them, but I haven't been super impressed.  There is just so much to do there, I hate to spend a lot of time eating.  But we did want to try somewhere new, so we picked here since it was so inexpensive.

D-Luxe Burger

On our February trip to Walt Disney World, we decided to try out D-Luxe Burger.  We wanted to spend our first night at Disney Springs, and the food here looked really good.  The reviews I read were also really positive.  Brad loves a good burger, and I love good fries.  So we thought this place would be perfect for us.

San Angel Inn

I had dinner at San Angel Inn on our recent trip to Disney World with mom.  I have always wanted to eat here just because of how pretty it always looked to me.  I also love Mexican food.  I was a bit hesitant based on the menu, but we decided to be adventurous and try it anyway.

Be Our Guest Dinner - Revisited

While I have had dinner at Be Our Guest before, mom had only had breakfast there.  For our January trip to Disney, we had dinner reservations for both Crystal Palace and Be Our Guest this night.  But we decided to cancel Crystal Palace a few days before since it was an earlier reservation and we both have had it.  We did not regret this choice.

Garden Grill Dinner

We ate at Garden Grill on our recent trip to Disney World.  It was not on our original agenda when planning our trip.  My mom got sick eating here two years ago (from the motion not the food).  So I have always been hesitant to book it again.  However, we were ahead of "schedule" on our third day (last full day), so we looked into restaurants that had availability that night.  It was between Garden Grill and Cape May Cafe.  Mom said she thought she could handle the motion better because she felt like it as a fluke the time before.  She also knew how much I love eating here, so we opted to go it.
